Michael Lohan, Jr. Wants To Change His Name So As Not To Be Confused With Michael Lohan, Sr.

At last … a member of the Lohan family did something smart and worth praising. Lindsay Lohan‘s younger brother Michael Lohan, Jr. is the first born son of Dina and Michael Lohan (Sr.) and, therefore, was unfortunately saddled with his father’s name. Little did anyone know that little Michael Lohan would be inheriting such a [...]

Beginning Blues Guitar The History of Blues Music In America and Why It Is Important

"What in Kurt Cobain's name is going on?" you may ask. No legacy is safe, no boundary left un-pushed. To paraphrase Jadakiss from ten years ago, dead rock stars get better promotion. Like Elvis before him and Tupac after him, Kurt Cobain and his pioneering band Nirvana have reached iconic, mythical status following the troubled singers 1994 suicide.

zsa-zsa-gabor-selling-furs.jpg

So sad.

As things are getting decidedly worse for Zsa Zsa Gabor, her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, has been looking for ways to pay for the massive amount of medical bills that have accumulated over the past year. He's recently confessed to sources that he plans on selling some of Zsa Zsa's assets to help reduce their debt, specifically her opulent collection of fur coats.

Prince Frederic reveals that the furs are valued at over $600,000 and he'll be placing the items up for bid on his website in the coming days. He realizes that there are many animal lovers out there who will find this distasteful, but it is a measure he feels needs to be taken. He explains:

"Why should I pay $1200 a year? The furs don't get better with age and I need lots of money to pay bills so I'm going to sell them. I'm sure the animal lovers will be upset by this sale but what am I going to do with them? Zsa Zsa is an animal lover too so I was surprised she even bought the coats. She will never wear them again. The doctor says she will never get out of bed so I want the coats out of our life."

It's a hard situation and we totally sympathize.

Please send our best to her, Frederic. We wish her well.

We are just 2 days away from the MUCH-ANTICIPATED release of Britney Spears‘s new music video for her new single Hold It Against Me and right now we get to check out the twelfth teaser clip video released to hype up the vid’s release Thursday night. Today’s teaser clip is all about Lights! Cameras! and [...]

Welp, another Valentine’s Day is in the History books. David and decided to keep things nice and boring here at home for VD yesterday because we are planning to celebrate our 5 year anniversary on Thursday night ahead of a week-long trip to NYC next week and a 2 week-long trip to Berlin, Germany the following week. BUT, while we decided to stay home last night … we did manage to find a way to make our night in worthwhile.

Chocolate, strawberries and champagne paired with Tabatha’s Salon Take Over and RuPaul’s Drag Race and we had a perfect night together. I know, I know … a lot of other couples like to go big on VDay but it’s not what we’re really into. For the most part, David and I enjoyed one of our regular ol’ Monday nights together … which was just fine for the both of us … because we like to celebrate our lurve all year long ;)

I have to start preparing for our trip so I have a lot of laundry and packing in my evening plans for tonight. The weather has gotten gloomy here in SoCal and it’s supposed to rain. Blah. Hope it’s sunny wherever you are today ;D

Jaron and Evan: The Distance

I still remember the day iTunes launched. For years, recording artists and their labels had been fighting to prevent Internet users from downloading music off the net. Record companies saw compact discs as the only way to distribute music. Although there were small online music initiatives like the legalized Napster, there were practically no feasible online outlets for downloading quality music.

Buying DJ Mixer Equipment

Growing up as a child who loved music I was amazed by the fact that no matter what happened there were always new songs playing on the radio. Some exciting and some boring whilst others would go straight to number one on the charts and stay there for weeks and everyone wanted to have that record in their collection, whilst other songs were soon forgotten. What makes a song a hit?

Marky Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Amy Adams were joined by a select group of guests at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA last night for the LA premiere of their new film The Fighter. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals:

I’m totally not feeling Christian‘s curly curls … at all. Marky Mark looked pretty good all clean cut and handsome. The Fighter smells to me like it’s trying to be this year’s The Wrestler. To be honest, Wahlberg plays the same character in almost every film so I’m thinkin’ I might have to take a pass on this one. If I do decide to check it out, it’ll be because I love Christian Bale‘s work (curly hair, notwithstanding). I’m not sure I’m all that interested in watching a movie about a down and out fighter who battles his way back to the top of the heap. Meh. It’s been done to death. Still … as I said, Bale is a big draw. Is this movie for you? Will you be paying out the $$$ to see The Fighter in theaters?

MIDI Controllers for DJs, Programmers, Producers, and Other Musicians

There was much Beatles hoopla happening in November, when iTunes and the Beatles finally announced that they would be selling all the re-mastered Beatles albums through the iTunes store. Many fans have been waiting eagerly for this, because the Beatles were among the last of the truly huge bands that had not gotten their product distributed through the Apple music system. However, the files that one purchases through iTunes have DRM (digital rights management) copy-protection, which means there are limitations to how one can use the files.

This can be attributed to the fact that there are now a lot of online piano lessons and training courses emerging in the Internet which many believe to be more effective than the conventional way of learning the instrument.

Should You Have An Assistant?

If you wish to impress your pals with all your mind reading skills, in that case this trick is just simply what you need to learn! So that you can perform this easy card trick, you require to take out 25 cards from the pack and request someone from the audience to shuffle them and cut them as many times as they want. Soon after this, you must distribute the 25 cards out on a table, in 5 rows of 5 cards, face up, from left to right, in tight rows, resembling the structure of a grid.
